Each year, the University of Southern California; the University of California, Los Angeles; and Western University team up for Global Health Awareness Week (GHAW), a weeklong series of global health events that introduces students, professionals, and the academic community across all sectors to new opportunities and insights into the field of global public health. The USC Institute for Global Health works with a multidisciplinary group of students to organize the week, which culminates in a community event for World Health Day LA.
