USC Global Health Awareness Week 2014: Vector-Borne Disease took place March 31 - April 5.Each year, the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles, team up with Global Health Review to host Global Health Awareness Week (GHAW), a weeklong series of global health events that introduces students, professionals, and the academic community across all sectors to new opportunities and insights into the field of global public health. The Institute for Global Health works with a multidisciplinary group of students to organize the USC week, which culminates in a community health event, World Health Day LA.
