Practicum Opportunities

The USC Institute for Global Health offers practicum and directed research opportunities and for USC MPH students and students in other programs that require practical experience for graduation. Students may receive up to 400 hours of credit during their time at the Institute. The practicum experience will increase the student’s research and professional experience in addressing global health issues. The objective is to enhance the recruitment of diverse students into research and practice careers in global health. Practicum participants will have the opportunity to pursue personal research projects on campus and abroad. The Institute will accept one student per semester for the unpaid practicum/directed research opportunity.
