As a leader in the field of health and human rights, GHHR facilitates research, lectures, conferences, workshops and events locally and globally. In addition, every year GHHR participates in symposiums, meetings and conferences all over the world.

GHHR works closely with governments, international agencies and non-governmental organizations to assist in operationalizing rights based approaches to health.

GHHR aims to expand and strengthen the field of health and human rights by clarifying the value of applying human rights norms and standards in addressing the underlying determinants of health, improving the delivery of health services, and ultimately impacting health outcomes. GHHR conducts research-focused activities within the field of health and human rights and disseminates lessons learned from these efforts by producing a wide range of publications.

GHHR is currently collaborating with a variety of foundations, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations and universities.
