Posted on

Join us in supporting young scholars at this special STAR Program research seminar! Anasazi Coronel & Rosa Argueta are graduating seniors at the Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School and have been working with the USC Institute for Global Health through the USC STAR Program for the past year.

With guidance from IGH Associate Director Dr. Heather Wipfli, Anasazi and Rosa developed and implemented a public health research study on adolescent overweight and obesity in Los Angeles. After winning first place in their category at the USC-Bravo Science Fair in early March, the duo went on to win another honorable mention among 12 entries in their category at the LA County Science Fair.

Please join us for Anasazi’s and Rosa’s final presentation about their research before they graduate and head off to college!
