Genetic risk factors for orofacial clefts in Central Africans and Southeast Asians

In partnership with the USC Institute for Global Health and the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Operation Smile, Inc., is investigating genetic and environmental factors in the etiology of clefts for its International Family Study. The project is currently collecting data and samples in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Vietnam, Honduras and Philippines.
