Presentation of UNDP Evaluation Report in Zambia

Posted on

This month Dr. Laura Ferguson traveled to Zambia to present GHHR’s mid-term evaluation report for the UNDP project focused on LGBT People and Women and Girls Affected by HIV and AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa. The report summarizes the successes and challenges of the project and provides recommendations for moving forward the work being implemented across 18 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. The project aims to reduce the HIV-related vulnerability of LGBT people and women and girls by ensuring the realization of legal rights and addressing stigma and discrimination. The report was presented to UNDP, the project’s Programme Management Committee and, because the work is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the Swedish Embassy. Based on the positive feedback received at these meetings, GHHR’s work on the project will be expanded to maximize the available learning opportunities.
