Professor Gruskin Joins WHO Family Planning Advisory Board

Professor Sofia Gruskin, director of the Program on Global Health & Human Rights, has been invited by the World Health Organization to join the Department of Reproductive Health and Research’s Advisory Group on Strengthening Family Planning. The group will focus on strengthening health systems’ capacities to monitor human rights dimensions in contraceptive programs in the context of the family planning service. As a part of the advisory group, Professor Gruskin will assist with identifying technical gaps and priorities, as well as make recommendations on technical operational methods to further bolster efficacy of programs.
