Professors Laura Ferguson’s and Sofia’s Gruskin’s publication came out this October in the 34th volume of the Knowledge Summary on Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health. “Operationalizing human rights in efforts to improve health” focuses on the present challenge of globally high death rates due to inequities and social conditions. The publication highlights the ways that integrating human rights can help tackle these challenges, and addresses the need for quality technical guidance and human rights documents to help clarify and inform the integration of human rights in global health work moving forward.
