No Más Bebés tells the story of a little-known but landmark event in reproductive justice, when a small group of Mexican immigrant women sued county doctors, the state, and the U.S. government after they were sterilized while giving birth at LA County-USC Medical Center during the 1960s-70s.
The film by Renee Peña and Virginia Espino is told through multiple perspectives of key players.
Following the screening Professor Sofia Gruskin and Dr. Mellissa Withers will moderate a discussion.
This screening is co-hosted by the Master of Public Health Student Association and the USC Institute for Global Health
