Law and Global Health Working Group receives USC Collaboration Fund award

Posted on

The USC Law and Global Health Working Group, chaired by Sofia Gruskin, director of the USC Program on Global Health & Human Rights, has been announced as a recipient of the USC Research Collaboration Fund. This competitive award supports interdisciplinary research and teams of faculty who aim to foster community among USC’s scholars by providing spaces for collaborative research efforts. Sofia Gruskin will lead this endeavor alongside USC Gould Professor of Law and Medicine Alexander Capron and USC Research Professor and Associate Dean of Research Charles Kaplan from the School of Social Work.

The Law and Global Health Working Group advances scholarship and provides training at the intersection of law and global health. For two years an exploratory group of faculty from across the University has helped establish the groundwork for this award. The group engages expertise from within and beyond USC and plans to include students and several external experts to share their knowledge in public fora.
