Universities Allied for Essential Medicines’ annual North American conference is an opportunity to inspire, educate, skills-build and mobilize students from a variety of disciplines to become part of something bigger and act now on the access to medicines crisis at their universities.
This year’s conference marks the organization’s 10th anniversary as an NGO in the United States. Celebrate a decade of student-driven activism for equitable access to life-saving medication!
UAEM strives to help students attend the conference, no matter what their financial situation. USC offers graduate students funding to attend conferences, up to $500. Travel Grants for participants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Travel reimbursement is also available for conference attendees for conferences in their area of study.
This conference is made possible through the generous support of the Open Society Institute, the Perls Foundation, Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and donations from UAEM students, alumni, and supporters.
