This month Professor Sofia Gruskin was named Senior Visiting Fellow by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Arts and Social Sciences Practical Justice Initiative in Sydney, Australia. She is responsible for meeting and mentoring junior faculty at the UNSW campus, delivering a series of lectures and helping to spark research initiatives with diverse partners.
In Sydney she delivered a lecture, “Do Definitions Matter? Data, Law and Decision-Making in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights,” focused on cross-topic, cross-region and cross-generational learning to improve sexual and reproductive health research, programming and education. This lecture was jointly sponsored with the UNSW Arts and Social Sciences Centre for Social Research in Health.
