6/19/19 – Complementarity of Supply- and Demand-Side RBF in The Gambia: Implementation and Evaluation Webinar

The Gambia’s National Nutrition Agency and Ministry of Health has been implementing the Maternal and Child Nutrition and Health Results Project (MCNHRP) to increase the utilization of community nutrition and primary maternal and child health services. The project uses complementary approaches to address both supply- and demand-side constraints: a health facility-based PBF and an innovative community-based RBF to incentivize the use of health and nutrition services and adoption of key behaviors. This policy seminar will relate the experience of implementing this multi-faceted RBF and will share midline and endline impact evaluation results that studies each arm against a counterfactual, separately and in combination.

Dr. Laura Ferguson, Assistant Professor and Director of the Program on Global Health and Human Rights at the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health will take part in the webinar to shed light on the work being done in The Gambia.
