Dayana Chanson, MPH, received her Bachelor of Arts in ethnic studies with a minor in anthropology from University of California, San Diego, and her Master of Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology from San Diego State University. She has worked on multiple public health community-based projects in the areas of substance abuse and physical activity and nutrition. Her current position at the IGH involves working on projects pertaining to different topics and collaborating with researchers around the world. She is currently pursuing a second master’s—applied biostatistics and epidemiology—at USC.
