Nuvjote (Nivvy) Hundal, MPH is the Program Manager for the USC Institute for Global Health. She holds a Masters in Public Health in Global Health Leadership from USC and a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science from UCLA and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Delta Omega Honor Society. She has previously worked in clinical research and development in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on efficacy of chemotherapy drugs for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. In addition, she has worked at the Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center to provide HIV/AIDS training, education and technical assistance to HIV/AIDS providers in South Los Angeles and at the GAVI Alliance within the Media & Communications department. Her work at the Institute focuses on management and coordination of international partnerships, student programs, research projects, and events and conferences. She serves as the lead administrator and implementation manager on numerous large international projects, coordinating research and programming efforts, contributing to strategic research objectives and managing faculty, staff and student teams. Currently, she serves as project manager for the Eastern Africa GEOHealth Hub, a regional environmental and occupational health center funded by the NIH, coordinating a team of six university partners around research and training initiatives in the region. She is also the project and research manager for the Institute’s Workplace Wellness project funded by the American Cancer Society.
