Alexandra Nicholson is the project administrator for the Program on Global Health & Human Rights in the USC Institute for Global Health.
As the project administrator for GHHR, Nicholson manages the daily execution of all program activities and program administration, contributes to the development of program research objectives and projects, and oversees program volunteers and interns. Her primary research interests within the work of the program are sexual and reproductive health and rights, maternal health and child health.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in diplomacy and world affairs with a minor in French literature from Occidental College in 2013. She previously worked as an intern at the United Nations for the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Malta where she reported on the first, fourth and sixth committees of the General Assembly, as well as on Security Council and European Union meetings at the UN headquarters in New York.
