Alexandra Nicholson, MS
Alexandra Nicholson is an affiliate of the Program on Global Health & Human Rights (GHHR) at the USC Institute for Global Health. As an affiliate, Alexandra substantively contributes to the achievement of program research objectives and projects, including conducting qualitative research, most recently in Botswana. Nicholson previously served as GHHR’s project administrator, which entailed a range of project management responsibilities including managing the execution of all program activities, overseeing program volunteers and interns, as well as contributing to the development of program research objectives. Nicholson recently helped facilitate USC’s Geneva practicum for MPH students, including their engagement with the 2018 World Health Assembly.
Alexandra earned her master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California with a focus on corporate citizenship, strategy, and social impact measurement and evaluation. Nicholson earned her bachelor’s degree in diplomacy and world affairs with a minor in French literature from Occidental College in 2013. During her time at Occidental, Alexandra worked as an intern at the United Nations for the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Malta.
