Larissa Puro, MPW
Larissa Puro is the communications manager for the USC Institute for Global Health.
She is interested in the documentation of global health issues using both innovative technologies and traditional storytelling techniques and serves as content producer and consultant for the institute and its collaborative research and education work. She has written, photographed, designed and consulted for non-profits, startups, government organizations and various media outlets and previously interned with USC Institute for Global Health, Los Angeles magazine, The Tribune in San Luis Obispo and the USC Stevens Institute for Innovation. She received her master’s degree in professional writing and bachelor’s degree in print and digital journalism from USC, graduating with honors in multimedia scholarship.
