Shervan A. Sebastian is the Public Communications Coordinator for the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health (IIGH) where he manages public-facing communications, media and publications. His responsibilities include supporting pan-university and global outreach efforts, as well as the Institute’s short and long term strategic engagement within the U.S. and around the world.  

He previously led in-district communications and outreach efforts during his time in the U.S. House of Representatives and has served as the lead public representative for the Brookings Institute Office of the Centennial Scholar in Washington, D.C. and the California Immigrant Policy Center (CIPC) in Los Angeles. 

Shervan has a Bachelors in Journalism and Creative Writing with a Minor in Political Science from Baruch College (CUNY).
