Shervan A. Sebastian
Shervan A. Sebastian is the Public Communications Coordinator for the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health (USC IIGH) where he leads university engagement, media outreach, public-facing communications and publications. His responsibilities include supporting pan-university and global engagement communications efforts, as well as the Institute’s short and long term strategic engagement within the U.S. and around the world.
He previously led in-district communications and outreach efforts during his time in the U.S. House of Representatives and has served as the lead public communicator on behalf of the Brookings Institute Office of the Centennial Scholar in Washington, D.C. and the California Immigrant Policy Center (CIPC) in Los Angeles.
Shervan has a Bachelors in Journalism and Creative Writing with a Minor in Political Science from Baruch College (CUNY).
