Master of Public Health Candidate – Global Health Leadership
Ryan Ross, a Master of Public Health candidate, is interested in global health, specifically economic development and health systems and capacity building in the developing world. As part of the JSI Immersion Fellowship he worked with the USC Institute for Global Health’s longtime partner, Ugandan NGO Twezimbe Development Foundation, aiding its outreach and intervention programs in the rural Mpigi district. Before his fellowship he attended the 68th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, with his classmates. He is interested in building schools and systems that address health worker shortages and attrition in low-income countries.
