The USC Institute for Global Health provides students the opportunity to work with partners and students in Mozambique to design and implement public health education curricula.
POSTPONED: We have postponed this program—it will no longer take place August 2017. We apologize for this change and any inconvenience it has caused. Please continue with submitting your interest form so we may reach out to you directly when the dates have been solidified. You may also sign up for the USC Uganda Public Health Immersion Program now taking place August 6-19, 2017.
All USC students are invited to take part—and Master of Public Health students may be eligible to extend the trip as a practicum in partnership with a local organization.
USC volunteers will team up with university students from Maputo, Mozambique, to plan educational sessions and spent a week in the villages leading lectures, games and discussions with local youth as part of a soccer camp organized by non-profit RUFC. After the camp, volunteers will have the opportunity to visit local health centers and organizations.
