The Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Applied Studies (IDEAS) Initiative and the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health invite you to a hybrid seminar featuring Paul Adamson, MD MPH, an Infectious Diseases physician and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Adamson is interested in global health, sexually transmitted infections, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Currently, he is leading a research project aimed at improving the diagnosis of C. trachomatis and N. gonorrhoeae infections, as well as identifying the prevalence and risk factors for AMR in N. gonorrhoeae, among people in a HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) program in Hanoi, Vietnam. Dr. Adamson attended UC Berkeley for his undergraduate and MPH degrees and completed medical school at UC San Francisco. He did residency training in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital before completing his fellowship training in Infectious Diseases at UCLA.
