Peter Luckow // To Hell With Good Intentions: Students & Universities in the Fight for Global Health Equity

Peter Luckow FlyerOctober 2, 2014 — Today’s university students have inherited a world rife with inequity. While sickness is universal, access to health care is not. How are students and universities to respond to this reality? For the past decade, Peter Luckow and his colleagues at GlobeMed have been critically exploring the ways in which students can transcend ineffectual volunteerism to serve as impactful partners and advocates for global health equity. In this lecture, co-sponsored by the USC Institute for Global Health and GlobeMed, Peter discussed GlobeMed and the future of student engagement in global health.
