World Health Day LA

WHDLAlogo_square_onwhiteFor six years the USC Institute for Global Health organized World Health Day LA, a community-wide global health event that wrapped up the annual Global Health Awareness Week at USC. The event took place on or around April 7, the date of the World Health Organization’s annual World Health Day, which marks its establishment in 1948.

Coordinated with assistance from student volunteers USC and other universities, the planning committees organized the event’s entertainment, family-friendly activities and health screenings–all of which were available for free to the community.
