With the most international students than any other university in the country and multiple cross-disciplinary initiatives, the University provides numerous opportunities to study and train in the global health field. The USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health serves as a locus for education and training programs in global health. Currently, USC offers three degree tracks specific to global health and many minors and programs dedicated to complementary issues.

Global Health Degrees & Courses - Learn more about featured courses offered through the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health, as well as other courses taught by our faculty. Continuing & Online Education - A selection of online global health education offerings through the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health. USC Global Health Case Competition - The USC Global Health Case Competition brings together teams of students from all disciplines to tackle a critical global health challenge. Five days after receiving the case, students must propose realistic, innovative solutions to a panel of expert judges who pick three teams to present in the final round. Student Organizations - There are many student organizations open to students interested in global health and public health. Practicum Opportunities - Aiming to expand students’ research and professional experience in addressing global health issues, the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health coordinates practicum opportunities to enhance the recruitment of diverse students into global health research and practice.
