The USC Program on Global Health & Human Rights has begun a new project with the Open Society Foundations focused on strengthening the capacity of and increasing access to justice for people who use drugs, with a special focus on young populations in Indonesia. As part of this project GHHR will partner with and provide technical assistance to LBH Masyarakat, a well-respected organization who provide pro bono legal aid for poor and marginalized populations in Indonesia and works on community legal empowerment at the grass roots level through the provision of legal and human rights education. GHHR will work in Jakarta to support rights-based evaluations or their work including the development of legal empowerment activities for young people who use drugs and other key populations.
